Travelling Thailand and Japan 2015

For our final day in Osaka, we headed to Universal Studios which we had actually discovered on an advertisement on our plane on the flight over to Japan.

We woke up early, about half 7, in order to get there for opening. The trains we really easy and it only took around 15mins to get there. The park even had its own train station and the walk up to the gates only took a few minutes. We queued up for around half an hour and made our way in. After a quick look at the map we headed straight for the film rides and decided to head to Harry Potter World later on. The rides were great, especially Spider-Man which had some great green screen effects. We also went on a wet ride made for Jurassic Park which had some great moving dinosaurs.

After quickly moving around each of the film rides we headed to Harry Potter World which was amazing. We went into all the different shops, bought a butter beer, saw an owl and live act before heading on the main ride. Even the queue for the ride was amazing as it led us up through the castle and we got to see more of the staging that had been created. The ride itself was really good and went through the main highlights from the books.

Afterwards we headed out back for home after a great day at the studios. We caught our train back and headed to a local Ramen restaurant just below our hostel which proved to be really nice! After dinner, we headed back to the hostel an early night, ready for our checkout and train back to Tokyo the next day!
