Paris is considered as a must-to-visit, so we planned that visit long ago. From Amsterdam we landed in Paris and went to the city. First destination was supposed to be the Arch of Triumph of the Star. A really great view is opened at the top of it, when the streets start off the Arch as star rays and go away. It was worth going upstairs. Having breathed the Parisian air and enjoyed the view, we moved further. The Louvre museum was not far, so we took a walk to get there. The Louvre seemed very interesting for us, despite the fact that it was situated in the three wings on the three floors and it would be a little exhausting to watch everything, so we watched the Egyptian collections with mummies and sarcophagi, the Venus de Milo without the arms and, of course, The Mona Lisa. This painting was fenced so it's possible to look at it only at 3 meter distance. We took photos and went to hotel. On the next day the Palace of Versailles was scheduled to visit in the morning.
