Gdansk

From Stavanger we took a flight to Gdansk. We found some interesting room in a guest house. It has a hot tub and what got our attention was that it was a family business with a friendly host. We went out that evening to watch the streets and the Center. First of all, we wanted to find some restaurant or cafe with a traditional Polish soup with a beef tripe and a Polish golonka (eisbein in English). We walked the main tourist streets and couldn't find it, so we turned a corner and found some small cafe on the backstreet. We ordered all

that we were looking for and a few glasses of beer. The old town of Gdansk was made of bricks in most cases and it looked like the rich people had lived there a long time ago. The houses had internal spacious yards with the separate entrances. We got back to our room and jumped into the hot tub. It was time to take a rest and continue the next day. The railway station, by the way, was a building under heritage protection. We were going to Malbork, founded in the 13th century by the Knights of the Teutonic Order. Do not break the oath!
