A Plane Window

On the next day we took a train to Malbork to see a Teutonic knights castle, founded in the 13th century. One thing that we noticed after arriving in the town was the unusual smell. Later we saw a factory which produced something I guess connected with a beetroot, it explained that smell. We headed to the castle and it appeared before us. We understood why it was the largest castle in the world by surface area and the largest brick building in Europe. If you don't believe us, take a look!

Malbork

On the next day we took a train to Malbork to see a Teutonic knights castle, founded in the 13th century. One thing that we noticed after arriving in the town was the unusual smell. Later we saw a factory which produced something I guess connected with a beetroot, it explained that smell. We headed to the castle and it appeared before us. We understood why it was the largest castle in the world by surface area and the largest brick building in Europe. If you don't believe us, take a look!

The castle was heavily destroyed during the World War II and then mostly reconstructed. When we looked at those walls, chambers, halls and chapels, we could not escape the thought that God had left that place a long time ago.
