The Two And The Sea

It should have been our first journey to the sea and it was. Our choice was made in favor of Crete Island. A plain took off at 8 pm from Vilnius. Then we landed in Chania at midnight. As our bus departure to Hersonissos was early in the morning, we bought the two pita gyros, grabbed a few beers and went to the port. We sat on the bench and watched the lighthouse and the sea, sipping beer.

It took almost 5 hours to get to our hotel in Hersonissos. We had some rest and after that had a

meal and went swimming.
On the next day we went out to find some restaurant with a Greek style or cuisine and we did it on a shoreline with great see-sights and the desperate wind. It was such a comfortable place that we'd been visiting it for all the rest days. Their meals were fresh and delicious and wine was heavy.
In the evening we went to the port and drank beer with pita gyros. There were many street cats around.

On some day we visited aquarium and aqua park. In aquarium we saw many sea creatures. Big, small, colorful. In aqua park there were water-hills, sunbath and, of course, bruises. Sunny photos included ;)

We must confess in one more thing: we broke the law a little)))
We climbed over the fence to watch some diggings on the hill.

It was August the 1st and we had a flight at 6-30 p.m. to Venice, where we started our first hitchhiking tour to Vilnius. But it's a different story...
