My Indian adventure!

Finally I got to go to the place that made me want to come to India...and Jai was never lying to me when he said what a nice place it will be. Early morning 7am!! (Ouch!!) I am in a car with my trusted driver Naveen on my way to Mussoorie...even though I had been waiting weeks to go there it just so happened I was feeling rough as rats when I woke up that morning so trying to wake myself up and hydrate myself with lots of water. Getting to Mussoorie should of taken about an hour but it wasn't long before we were stuck in traffic... Indian people do not do traffic...they seriously would be screwed on the M25...Where we were stuck in traffic there was a rare wall in the middle of the road separating the cars going in different directions...unfortunately today on one side it was closed because there were about 5 skinny little guys tarmacking the road by hand (no machines no like England) they just had a wheelbarrow, a bucket, some brooms and a fire in the middle of the road...Signing things is not something Indians do very well and this road closure was not signed at all and they don't do road replacement so to deal with the mass of cars trying to go in either direction there was one guys stood in the middle of the road just shouting and pointing as the one side of the road was kinda being split into 2 single file lanes...I did not enjoy how close the buses were getting and to be frank if I wasn't awake I certainly was when I finally got through the traffic...Indian's have an unnatural attachment to the horns of their vehicles..anyway...I digress... Anyone that has been in a car with me will probably know 2 things I am a terrible passenger regardless if I'm in the back or the passenger side at the front of a car and I get terrible car sickness on windy roads...unfortunately for me getting to Mussoorie meant I had to be both of those things...it did not end well...as we were climbing up through the Himalayas I was feeling very queezy and because the roads are such tight bends we couldn't stop anywhere... I threw up all on the back of Naveen's driving seat and myself..it was only water thankfully so I was able to dry off quickly but I was so embarrassed!! I'm not entirely sure if Naveen even noticed...well he didn't react at all...after finally being able to pull over I was able to sit at the side of the road for about 10 mins.. my stomach settled and I was all dried off...half an hour later we had reached my first destination of the day Kempty Falls.
