5 Days, 14 Hours

The countdown clock is ticking! Yesterday while Bill was at work I met Bill,Karen and kids up at Hell's Kitchen for lunch. Then last night we went to Nancy and Cathie's for dinner. It was a busy but fun day. So much is last minute. I need to find a vent cover somewhere since ours got broken during a rigorous cleaning! Grocery shopping is still a couple of days away. Rufus gets a bath this week and the plumbing gets prepped for an extended vacation. The house plants and sour dough starter go to Cathie this week (they are so happy that Aunt Cathie is going to bring them back to life) .We hope the sprinklers are set right but know there is

a good chance we will loose some beloved plants. Loading and cleaning the motorhome will be one of the last things we do before we leave.
The Cajon Pass construction project and hot temps will make the lift off a bit nail biting...but you can't change any of it so you just go and hope for the best.
The health insurance company has been uncooperative in getting us our vacation override for Bill's Eliquis. Rite-Aid has worked hard and after a week of nonsense they called to tell me that they finally got the approval and that it will be ready tomorrow. I'm glad I got an early start on that project!!
