What a day! A very long ride took us to Craters of the Moon National Monument. It was other worldly! We climbed up a cinder cone for some great views, then had a picnic. On the way home we stopped at the first nuclear rector site EBR-1 ( experimental breeder reactor).

Then off to Atomic City. We just did a drive through, took some pictures and waved to the only living being we saw. The AC Bar did have some cars in front but we couldn't stop as Rufus had already been left behind in Blackfoot for 6 hours.

The following day we decided to just rest. We satayed in Blackfoot, Bill finished his book and I did hand laundry and a thorough cleaning of the motorhome. Our next severl weeks we won't have water or electricity so it was now or never.
