How National Geographic travel journalist founded Travel Diaries
As a travel journalist, Veerle travelled around the world for years. During one of these expeditions, she sought a tool that could incorporate lengthy continuous texts and combine them with photos and route maps in different layouts, a tool to share stories as blogs with friends and family, work in a digital journal format, and the option to ultimately order as a printed book. It did not exist.
This marked the inception of Travel Diaries: an app that enables designing, sharing, and ordering personalized travel journals as printed books in different formats. Made by travellers for travellers.
