Rome Artifacts

After years of searching, people finally discovered the death place of Julius Ceasar, the Largo di Torre Argentina. The large tree is said to mark the actual death place, and the square itself marks the ruins of temples built in his honor. After reaching too far to be the ultimate authority by declaring himself a forever dictator, his trusted friends put together a plan to rid the city of him. As they gathered at this tree, they all took out daggers and began to repeatedly stab him, marking the end of the great ruler. Now, all the remains are the ruins of the temples built for the gods. It is hard to believe that for years, people have driven by that spot and never knew the unbelievable event that took place here.
