Preparations

Finally, the last day at the office is here, and a 2 week holiday trip to South England is just around the corner. Today I am just finishing up my projects. It has been a long time since my last holidays, so I am really looking forward to this.

After a rather long period of researching my travel destination, I have finally chosen South England. A 1.600 km trip along the southern coast of the British Isles. I hope that my wife and my 10-year old son will appreciate England as much as I do. With all its beautiful countrysides and interesting sights. For me this is an opportunity to show my son why I love that country so much. It will be our

adventure; father and son.

Tonight I will start packing my bags and preparing my travel documents. There is still some preparation to be done, but it should all work out. Saturday as the last minute details will be taken care of, so that we can board the plane relaxed. We should arrive in London in the afternoon, then collect our rental car, and at last get this trip on the road.

First stop: Canterbury
