We had lunch in Kununurra on the drive to Katherine, and while we were having lunch Mitchell got swooped twice by kites (eagle birds) and they were trying to get his bread he was having for lunch. Scared the life out of him, really funny.
We went to zebra rock mine on the way and we saw some zebra rocks and held some reptiles as well as shining so zebra rocks.
We arrived at Katherine and we decided to go to Katherine gorge. We arrived and set up then we went to the sunset which was a hike up a mountain to a lookout.
The next day we went on a walk to pat lookout and then we went on a cruise to 2 gorges and it went for 2 hours.
Mum tried so hard to get a photo of this bird. The female had a green head while the male had a blue head.
We arrived at Katherine and we went an aboriginal art centre and we got to hold a baby wallaby.
We went to a show called Katherine Outback Experience where we got to see animals and see how to ride a wild horse by taming it a bit to ride. We also saw dogs riding horses, a girls doing the Roman riding as well as seeing dogs helping to round up goats. We got to pat cows, goats, water buffalo, horses and many more.
At the end we got to hold puppies and it was so good. We also got a CD from Tom Curtain.
The next day we went to church and went for a swim in Katherine hot springs and I made a lovely meals said mum.
