Undarra Lava Tubes
We stopped on the side of the road for a night so we could see the lava tubes at Undarra. I didn’t really get it but I think it was were some lava flowed & have left caves, but we didn’t see any lava flowing. The best bit was when the guide kicked a cane toad & it went pop!
Cairns
My mum really likes Cairns because it has lots of green grass, nice plants & really tall mountains.
We went on the sky rail which took us to a place called Kuranda and we then went down the mountain on an old train. The sky rail had three separate stations that you had to get out & take a look around at the scenery & then get back on. We saw a really good waterfall called the Baron Falls. The train was good but slow for my liking. It went through some man made tunnels, bridges and we saw some waterfalls
We did a tour of the Great Barrier Reef and did snorkelled around some reefs. The water was so choppy that half the boat got sick and lost there breakfast??. We saw a lot of fish and Sam said he saw a shark. (Sorry we didn’t get photos of the reef ).
