Sunday 30
We didn't go to church this day, so Alexis and I were able to go on a hike! First we got some food at the grocery store, what a place! It was even bigger than I'd expected. There were hundred different things of literally anything. I think you can fit 3/4 Dutch supermarkets in this one. It was definitely huge.
We went to see the lakes, called Mara Martha Katherine. It was beautiful up there. There were a lot of flower fields. The nature was completely different than the nature in st George, no red rocks, but green, tall trees. There were a lot of squirrels and chipmunks here, trying to steal our food ;) We also passed a waterfall. We didn't do much in the evening, just a chill movie night!
Monday 31 (Met vertaling!!)
Busy day! We went sightseeing today. First, we went to 'the Dutch store', a store with a lot of Dutch products. They had the sprinkles of our brand, and even oliebollen! (A Dutch snack) I liked the fact that they were playing Dutch songs as well.

Busy day! We went sightseeing today. First, we went to 'the Dutch store', a store with a lot of Dutch products. They had the sprinkles of our brand, and even oliebollen! (A Dutch snack) I liked the fact that they were playing Dutch songs as well.
After the Dutch store, we went to City Creek, a mall. Guess what, there was a Disney Store! They had a lot of cute little dresses and dolls. We had lunch there as well, we went to Kneaders. Then, we went to the Temple Grounds. It's was stunning, seeing the temple, and the other buildings and fountains. After that, we drove to the Capital building, again.. very impressive, we went inside and saw a lot of pretty paintings. In the afternoon, we went to see the Bitner Ranch. I'd never seen a ranch here before, so it was interesting! There was a lovely house next to hit, with a lot of vintage furniture. Honestly, I'd buy it if it was on sale. Sheep are the animals that live there, super cute?? We drove a four wheeler, and it was very, very cool. I had drove one before, but that was a long time ago. Really, it was the best.
Drukke dag vandaag!
