There is a Roman villa that is being excavated in the small town of Risan on the opposite side of the bay. We forego breakfast and get preened up and hop in the taxi.
The villa is good sized and was at one time two levels although the second has collapsed. The mosaics are OK but not near as colorful as those we have previously seen in Spain. But, when you look at the surrounding mountains they are very colorless; mostly just shades of grey and brown. The site had been visited, just this morning, by a group of dignitaries and the three lady attendants were all excited and asked us to take their pictures. The ladies at the site recommend a restaurant and we head out.

It is just a short walk down the street, this is a very small town. It is a decent place with its share of cats. Shirley and I have tuna and its quite good, Carroll has a fish called brill with a sauce and she states it's tasty.
After lunch we spot a famers market. Not too bad for a little town. They have homemade olive oil. Would have loved to get a bottle but think I wold have trouble getting it back home.
We take a taxi back to Kotor and stop in at the old city and get some ice cream. Yummy. Then head back to the flat. For some snacks for supper.
