Got up at 6;45 to the patter of raindrops. This is the first rainy day we have had since leaving home on 9/4. Not only is it raining but there is thunder and lightning to go along with the rain. Plus, a small cruise ship just showed up. The ladies are going to head into town to spend money to help to do their part to improve the local economy. There are now two cruise ships in port but hopefully it is raining enough a lot of passengers will stay aboard. I'm staying here and doing some repacking and getting ready for our 9:00am pickup tomorrow for the car ride back to the airport at Dubrovnik and, hopefully, speedy border crossing.

The ladies contribute their fare share to the economic recovery of Montenegro and return around 4pm. We sit for a bit and do some writing and other stuff.
About 630 we round up a taxi and head out to the Galeon. We had eaten here previously and it was good food so we decide to go back. There is only one cruise ship in harbor and the restaurant is not crowded. I have the calamari with sautéed vegetables and the babes both have salmon. Carroll has the local "cream puffy thing" for dessert and I have an apple tart. Good meal.
This is our last night here and I am ready to move on. The crowds are not as bad as Dubrovnik which is a huge plus. We did not have a car and so did not to see a whole lot of the countryside. But between the transit from Dubrovnik to Kotor and the visit to the other spots we
have seen a good deal. The people are friendly and the food is decent, maybe not outstanding, but very good. But, I don't think I would come back here. Nothing negative but I just don't think there is enough here to come back and experience.
We are getting picked up tomorrow at 9:00 for our trip back to the airport in Dubrovnik for the flight that leaves at 330 for Munich and then Budapest. A very long day as we don't arrive until midnight.
