Tales from Siberia
Last Friday was a beautifully sunny 65 degree day so we got brave and took a little trip to the "Ob Sea" (actually just a huge reservoir). We walked 5 minutes to the Subway, rode that for 7 minutes to the train station, waited 45 minutes for our train (we couldn't find a schedule published online, but now that we know it we could definitely be more efficient here) and then rode the "electrishka" (commuter train) about 40 minutes out of town to our destination. It was glorious. Fresh air! No people! I can imagine the place is busy during the summer, but it was wonderfully deserted. We all enjoyed the day very much.
