Ships log day 62

All at sea, 07.03.2017

All at sea hot and sunny travelled 17,500 miles. A couple of ships facts bearing in mind the average age of passengers looks about 75, we have had 4 deaths on board (1 in the gym) since Tilbury, 1 helicopter air lift for a heart attack, 6 broken limbs who had to leave the ship for hospital treatment, 1 crew member who jumped ship at Sydney and 1 jumped ship in Barbados, a stow away found in a lifeboat. Knowing this has now kept me well away from the gym. Another formal night tonight with freshly ironed bow tie, and a new comedian for our Showtime. Everyday we attend the many lectures on board with a variety of subjects, but usually on the history and information about up and coming ports. And must say i never realised how ruthless, aggressive and violent the Dutch have been in there dark and murky past, it makes our dark history fairly modest. We have just seen and passed Papua New Guinea on our right and our next port of call is Komodo Island Indonesia. Photo of us in Skyrail Darwin
