Retirement Odyssey
One week on the road now, so it was time to do some laundry ..... at a laundromat, NOT in the sink like we usually do!! Great location just behind the TI.
Took a long, steep walk uphill to the Cote de Grace. The view over the Seine wasn't all that great, but the area on top was very nice. There was a beautiful little 16th century church up there, the Chapel de Notre-Dame de Grace. It's major purpose was to bless sailors and pray for their safe return.
Back to town for a picnic lunch and a visit to St Leonard's church built in 15th-16th centuries. Finished the afternoon with a walk along the Vieux Basin to the jetty walk and the Jardin Publique.
Dinner at L'Homme de Bois. Very nice ambience, service and food.
