Israel Adventures

Jish was a very good experience for me because it gave a very important perspective of Christians who are living under the Israeli government. He told of persecutions and the need of interventions from the West. he said this is needed because the Arabs do not care for them. He even spoke that he hopes we get high positions in the government because then we will know what their needs are and can help them. He has a lot of faith.

We went to a Syrian Maronite church founded in the 4th Century. He talked of Aramaic not being a dead language, because they still speak it and how they want the Israeli government to teach it to their children in schools.
