Unfortunately by the time we left for Ireland I had come down with a flu, and Liam was starting to feel under the weather too. We had a lovely weekend in Waterford being spoilt by The Cusacks, though Liam and I were miserable company. I’ll never forget arriving at 1.00am in the morning to a feast Nigel and Lynn had prepared. It was just like arriving at Hawkins road late on a Friday night and the first of many glimpses of home.
