Dad,
I can't really say why motorcycles are such a big part of my life.
The dangers and risks are serious and undeniable.
But still I ride.
I study riding techniques, constantly survey the road, and work on improving my skills.
I ride sober and usually have a set destination - sometimes, we just go out for a wee bimble.
ATGATT = all the gear all the time.
SIPDE = scan, interpret, predict, decide, execute.
And God is my copilot.
The sport has brought me and Virginia close as we share this passion of travel.
She's mighty trusting and a great navigator.
I've come a long way since the RUPP mini bike...probably a quarter of a million miles on two wheels!
So I guess I'll have a motor sickle (sic) until my legs can't hold one up anymore.
But I won't ever be the Harley type.
It's a wonderful life and I take it serious.
