Alyona and I have been shortlisted for the next stage to become volunteers at New Zealand Fashion Week that will take place in Auckland this August. Dear Diary,

Friday poetry evening was really very cosy…learning more about slam poetry. It was a loose open-mike event aimed at extending poetry’s appeal and giving people a chance not to clam up with their little masterpieces. Extremely inspiring! I decided to take it up a notch and try writing something myself, but it demands a certain push and shove.
