I am a hoarder of moments. Since freshman year, I have recorded one second of my life every day in the app called One Second Every Day. I could watch one moment from every day of my life in the last three years in a ten-minute video. These are the little moments the first week I do not want to forget: Seeing the Eiffel tower from the plane. Finding vibrantly colored toilet paper at the supermarché. Spilling rice all over the ground the first night we tried to cook. Eating a burger at the mall after being so hungry all week. Trying to read labels in the grocery store. Late to church the first week because we got lost taking the wrong bus. The breath-taking moment seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time. Watching my brave friend eat snails for lunch. Spending eight hours on the homework skit. Finding the French thrift store and buying the perfect clothes. Hearing French worship music for the first time. Loving the way they pronounce Jesus, “shay-zu.”
