Sunday in Prague.....

Prague, 06.25.2017

Woke up a little tired this morning after the night in the park. Katelyn and I were a bit draggy and lethargic, but also excited to see some more of Prague. We headed out to the Charles bridge and the John Lennon Peace Wall to start off. Both didn't disappoint. The bridge was an incredible piece of ancient history that is a must see. It was hard to get pictures of it because of the massive amounts of people on the bridge. Seemed everyone had the same idea as us. The John Lennon Peace Wall is just a wall of graffiti dedicated to his peace movement. Interesting people's perspectives they illustrate on the wall. Left the crowds and wandered down the river looking at all sorts of old and new Prague. Was a good day to wander as the day was

cloudy making it cooler. Meandered our way to Wenceslas Square to meet Marissa for lunch. She took us to a place that was very Czech. Had 200 types of beer to choose from as well as some traditional meals. I had smoked duck with mashed potatoes and onions. Delicious!!! We then went exploring some of the lesser known treasures of Prague. Thanks to Marissa for taking the time to show and enlighten us about Prague. Would never have seen these places if not for her. We went back to our room tired but satisfied on a great day in Prague. We are taking a day trip out of the city tomorrow to an interesting little spot. Another day of fun on this little trip!
