Idiot Abroad

Woke up Ruf style by being the last people to have the breakfast buffet(11am) and started our journey to Buhl! Turned on the radio excited to hear German hits and appropriately Savage Garden started playing.
Then we played a game of how many times can we pass the WC(toilets) and make our mother wait longer for a rest stop.
We also played a game of how to go back on the highway in the opposite direction and be forced to drive for miles until the next exit, highly recommend this game!

Then we played an actual game of Contact hahaha. Which my dad attempted to play but gradually went to sleep as he didn't seem to always get the concept, because he would randomly just state "Contact!" when nobody had said a clue or anything lol. but I enjoyed his version better.

We arrived at Buhl on our chunky station wagon and soon realized we were at the complete top of a very large and windy hill, to carissa's delight as the driver of the car. and after looking only a little dumb by wandering around the street looking for the exact building we found it and it had a really pretty view that we took full advantage/1000 pictures of hahaha. The only downside was there was no A/C, which we thought would be fine until we realized that Europe was going through it's biggest heatwave in years during that specific week we were staying there LOL.

Munich to Buhl

We arrived at Buhl on our chunky station wagon and soon realized we were at the complete top of a very large and windy hill, to carissa's delight as the driver of the car. and after looking only a little dumb by wandering around the street looking for the exact building we found it and it had a really pretty view that we took full advantage/1000 pictures of hahaha. The only downside was there was no A/C, which we thought would be fine until we realized that Europe was going through it's biggest heatwave in years during that specific week we were staying there LOL.

Either way we sat outside and enjoyed the sunset and talking, and then made plans for the next few days.

Carissa & I also had a battle of the bugs from opening our bedroom window, and we kept watch of a creepy spider right outside our bedroom ceiling, we really enjoyed that it would disappear or move around places, we felt very comfortable seeing it stare at us from different angles.

lots of pictures with nathan(dry bones) lol. the stand-in for nathan.
