Fun Fact: Although partially filmed in Salzburg, Nobody in Austria/Salzburg and apparently South Germany know of or have ever watched the Sound of Music. But that's Salzburg's #2 top tourist attraction right behind Good Ol Mozart LOL. Apparently they were playing a concert and asked the crowd to sing and everyone in Salzburg didn't know the words but all the hundreds of Chinese tourists were passionately singing the songs.
It was mostly Americans on the bus tour, with some england/new zealand/sri lanka/hong kong countries. Solid lol.
We had an awesome tour guide named PETAAH. He was retired for 7 years but apparently not because he keeps getting asked to do these tours haha.
We Also Learned a really nice version of the song by some people who had a bartender named ray and changed the song to:
Do, a Beer, a German Beer
Ray, The guy who serves the beer
Me, the one I buy beers for
Fa, A long way to the bar
So, I think I'll have a beer
La, Lalalalala
Tee, No thanks I'll have a Beeeer

We got to see the lake district which was super pretty and my dad got a picture with mozart lol. It was fun singing the songs on the bus, felt super touristy and lame going around with the big logo on our bus, but at the same time I find that kind of thing hilarious.
That was fun because we didn't have to walk so much, or so we thought because we ended up walking more than in Munich, 7 miles hahahaha.
Also on this trip my mom, carissa & myself all managed to have breakdowns because we're high anxiety mixed together. When I was younger I was very perceiving and passive and was a good source of neutrality/calming with my mom & carissa, but as I got older I became more stress induced/critical and less happy-go lucky in some senses, so now it's us 3 + my dad who just stays quiet in fear of getting punched out by one of us hahahahah.
So we all took turns having our own breakdowns, minus my dad, though maybe he had one and just didn't share hahaha.
All in all it was a good day, the train ride to Salzburg was really nice, and I sat alone on the way back during my turn for a breakdown LOL. Another Day in Ruf Paradise.
Definitely one of my favorite cities! Highly recommend for breakdowns LOL.
