I´ve heard adults talking about how much poetry they had to memorize as kids, and I´ve wondered, ¨How in the world do parents get their kids to do this?¨ So today I tried something revolutionary: I took out a book of poetry and said, ¨Hey kids, let´s memorize a poem.¨ Lo and behold.
