Rishikesh Adventure

It was Sunday and the Ashram have 'Karma' Yoga practice on this day, which is cleaning and things looked pretty much as clean as they were going to get. So after a quick wash and brush up a few of us ventured off down the steep steps into Rishikesh town. This was mostly to shop for toilet roll :) In the excitement of the buzz of the town, the cows and monkeys and shops we totally forgot about this until it started to get dark! Luckily we found a shop selling this just at the right time!
The key feature of the group atmosphere heading out past the 'tuk tuk station' was 'utter excitement' as 'plain giddy' just didn't sum it up!
Shelley loves monkeys, cows and children and boy do they love her! With her newly dyed orange locks and stunning smile they loved her even more, the selfie requests came thick and fast. Everywhere we went she got mobbed and so did we really. Shelley patted cows and bought food to feed monkeys. We had a ball!
