My diary

Unknown POV

I think back to my memories when we were younger. How I always got blamed for everything. How I was bullied, and how my parents never cared. How I was neglected. Hurt.
And how my two cousins were loved. Cherished. While I was thrown away like an old, worn out piece of silk.
How I was beaten by my father everyday of my life. While he pampered them and bought them gifts.
They were best friends, just like brothers should be. Happy, just like humans should be.
But not for long. They have made me miserable throughout the years. And now it is my turn to make them miserable. Their turn to feel as though no one cares, and as if their whole world is falling apart. Just how I felt when they were born.
"Masssssster..."
"Yes, Serpent."
"Isssssss it time?"
"Yes, Serpent. The time has come."
"Wonderful..."
I carve the last few words onto the oracle bone.
"Perfect," I whisper, "Serpent. You know what to do with this."
"Yessssss Massssster."
He takes the oracle bone from my hand and slithers away.
I lean back on my tatami straw bed and close my eyes, my work completed. Now all I have to do is wait.
Wait for justice.
