Showstopper - the show is based entirely on audience suggestions and truthfully, I didn't hold very high hopes for it. How can a musical made up on the spot compete with a musical that took many many months to write and rehearse? Well, I can gladly say that Showstopper blew my mind! I was so impressed by the quality of the talented actors and their ability to seamlessly integrate audience suggestions into the storyline that as soon as I we got home, I convinced some of my housemates, Alycia, Bec and Casss to come and see the show with me the next week while Michael was at work.
After seeing the show for the second time, and being thoroughly impressed, yet again, I became a little addicted and (much to my bank account's dissapproval) went to see the show another two times in its final week - the first time, with Michael, and then two days later with some of my other housemates, Jess, Paije and Cass.
