Fun fact: Finland has an estimated 2 million saunas for its population of 5 million and 99% of Finns use a sauna weekly. I was very excited to sauna and I'd prepared myself to do it the traditional Finnish way (other than the no-clothes part) , which includes jumping into the lake after leaving the sauna. At 65 degrees, the lake was a chilly experience.
After the sauna, we decided to go to sleep. I'd been warned that it would be a lot lighter at night in Finland, but I wasn't quite prepared. These photos were taken at midnight. Sleep was a little bit of an issue.
