After pretending to be an "Early Bird" for few days, the pretentious-self of ours have taken its toll on all our energy, and we were left with pretty much nothing but our zombie-like self hahaha. As a result, we decided to take a relaxing day by touring around only at Fuji Q Highland Amusement Park and heading back to Tokyo at the end of the day. Sounds like a plan huh? Hehe :)

This hostel never failed to put a smile on my face once again! When my eyes were met with an astounding landscape outside my room's window, I was instantly awaken by this blissful hell of view. Fujisan was right in front of me surrounded by a tranquil Kawaguchi Lake on

which few boats were floating calmly in syn of the rhythm of morning wave. I was speechless for a moment, thinking of how lucky I was to have this view only for myself! Most importantly, you don't need to spend a fortune for luxury hotel to enjoy this spectacular view, just a small local guest house like this could offer it all, WICKED!

So, I could no longer resist the urges to see more of this landscape around my accommodation...no matter how cozy this Japanese futon engulfed me, I eventually dragged myself out for a little morning walk along the lake, leaving Ching continued her beauty sleep behind LOL.

The walk was, as expected, a peaceful one. Even though it was brief due to the bittering cold weather outside making hard to be out for so long, I fully enjoyed every bit of moment savoring the picturesque Fujisan sight before me. It was as if my wish for this trip has already been fulfilled...I can proudly say now that "Yeah I've been to Japan and saw Mt. Fuji with my own eyes" Hahahaha.

Anyway, once everything was settled, we were again back on our journey! Next on the list was none other than the Fuji Q Highland Amusement Park! and we were up to some THRILL this time.

We stated off our first ride with the highlight of this amusement park... The Fujiyama, King of Roller Coasters! I found myself wondering why on earth we had to que in line for almost an hour for just this 3 minutes rider? would it be worthy for my time? Well...actually I had a lot going on in my mind as I have always been a thrill-craving-kind-of-girl, I kinda set quite a high expectation on this coaster! Let's see how far this coaster can take me to then...

Alright...so we got the second row from the front of coaster, not too

bad hehe. As we ascended to the top, I kinda had a hunch that "OMG! This shit is going to be real", nevertheless, I put my brave face on as usual. Throughout this cruel 3 min. ride, I had to admit that at some point I thought I almost fainted! but still my subconscious kept yelling out for me to hold on till the machine finally coming to the stop. If you are so curious to know what this fuss is all about, I would suggest you to check out the video on YouTube, or better try it yourself if you have a chance!! Hahaha Seriously, I can't begin to describe the intensity I was feeling at that moment lol...

Moving on to the next ride, we picked a ride called Tondemina, the latest roller coaster here. It's a giant-donut-like coaster in which we were casted round in circle up high. I swore I could see the sky and Mt. Fuji upside down from this ride!! As always I was scared to death...if you could imagine the feeling of dropping in free-fall! That's it...almost like Bungy jumping, but worse hahaha.

As the day dragged on, we rode on several more rides and I ended up ice skating alone with my trembling legs in the evening. I tried to convince Ching to play with me but she ditched me somehow hahaha. So never mind! I enjoyed myself though. This ice skating reminded me of last time I actually did it...like almost 4 years ago I think...with this I bet you could guess how rusty my skating skill would be right? LOL! Miraculously, I managed to keep my balance till the end...beyond my expectation even hahaha.

Okay, so overall our day today was being well spent! we did much more than we actually planned to. This day also marked my first time ever riding on a roller coaster (too many coasters in a row, to be exact lol) It was such a great feeling to turn back time and be a kid (at heart) again...let's do this a bit more often next time then!
