So when I arrived in America I had no plans of going to Disneyland because I had been there before you probably need a couple of days. A couple of nights ago I did some research and discovered that the Disneyland Resort is now made up of two themeparks being the original Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. The California Adventure is new since I was last there so I decided to go to that one (admission is either one, the other or both), both in one day would be too much I decided.
First thing I did was head to Cars Land and go on the Radiator Springs Racers which was a cool ride starting off slow and then speeding up for a race. I ended up going on this ride twice. This along with other rides makes use of two separate queues one normal and one for singles riders. The single riders queue is for people by themselves or groups that don't mind being split up.
I noticed this on the transformers ride at Universal Studios the other day but it was too late I was already halfway through the normal queue (could have
saved 30 mins though. Cars Land was definitely my favorite area of the Themepark with some of the Cars characters on the road to have photos with.
After this I went and to the It's Tough To be a Bug 3D adventure, this was kind of cool because at one point the lights go out and they say bees are flying around and then something on the back of the chair pokes you as though you were stung. Then at the end they say please remain seated so all the bugs can leave the theatre first, then parts of the seat goes up and down as though bugs are walking under you.
Going to themeparks I have always loved going to the shows and watching them so I went to all the shows that interested me, these were: Muppet Vision 3D, Disney's Aladdin - A Musical (this was pretty cool including a flying carpet and some other pretty cool special
effects), Instant Concert, and Red Car News Boys.
I went on all of the rides that were if interest to me which included the Toy Story Midway Mania which had you in a spinning cart with a gun you would move around different 3D screens that you would fire your gun at to score points it kept the score between you and the person next to you to determine a winner which is pretty cool. At the end it also showed you the high score for the month.
Another ride was Soaring Over California, you were sitting in seat that lifted off the ground and had a big screen curved around in front if you and it had you gliding through the sky over various California landmarks it was kind if a cool way to see various sights including the Golden Gate Bridge (which ill be seeing in real life in 1 week).
Over all I am glad I did end up going to Disneyland but I do regret not going earlier in my stay in LA because then I would probably have gone back to the other park. The other night I discovered that my hotel has a tv channel that is playing the Crusaders game so I'm getting ready to watch that.
Tomorrow is my last day that I can really get anything done because on Saturday I will have to checkout of my hotel and make my way across to the hotel that the tour starts from on Sunday. I have couple
of things I am hoping to get done tomorrow but we will see how I get on. Check in later.
