Today we did the 4hour drive to the Grand Canyon where Ellyn (our guide) blindfolded us and led us to the viewing area. It is more amazing than I though it would be!

We walked around for a bit taking photos etc. I stayed away from the edge though. Four if us also opted to do a 45min helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon. It was definitely worth it. I would say it is the only way to see the true extent of the size of the Grand Canyon. I think it was also my first time in a helicopter. I have to say I freaked out a

Day 10 - Trekamerica - Grand Canyon

Today we did the 4hour drive to the Grand Canyon where Ellyn (our guide) blindfolded us and led us to the viewing area. It is more amazing than I though it would be!

We walked around for a bit taking photos etc. I stayed away from the edge though. Four if us also opted to do a 45min helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon. It was definitely worth it. I would say it is the only way to see the true extent of the size of the Grand Canyon. I think it was also my first time in a helicopter. I have to say I freaked out a

little the moment went from land and then swooped down into the Canyon a wee bit. It was like being on a roller coaster. But once we were seeing all the different formations of the Canyon it was fantastic.

We grabbed some pizzas for tea and took them to a spot beside the Canyon where we watched the sunset.
