The semester is over, some grades are in, and it's time to take off again. I left my house at 6:30 this morning and at 11:25 tonight I will arrive in Bangkok. Sounds easy but it's actually about 30 hours of total travel. This time I'm meeting a friend and heading abroad with her. suppose I can always do that on the 24 hours of flying I have ahead. Our plans are to be in Bangkok for 2 days then take an overnight train to Chiang Mai. After 2 days there we'll fly to Phuket and hop around the islands. There will be temples, massages, elephants, beaches, cooking classes, markets, and anything else we stumble into. So long America, see you in 2 weeks!
