Disney Land!!!
This morning we had to be up kind of early to take the car back (we were meant to have dropped it in the night before but got there too late - oops).
It should have been a 10 minute drive from our hotel but thanks to some confusing instructions and a complete lack of any signage it took us three tries to get to the right place. Turns out it was in a small car park of one of the hotels in Downtown Disney. And then we couldn't find the actual store till we asked for some help.
After getting rid of our last hire car for the trip, we wandered up through Downtown Disney and found the entrance to the Disney parks. Our initial plan was to visit DisneyLand park but when we got through the bag check we could see the line was really deep for there and yet the there were no lines to California Adventure Park. Quick change of plans and off we headed to there instead.
Fantastic day! We really enjoyed this park, particularly the Cars Land section. It has been beautifully built and just as it's seen in the movie which was pretty cool. We made sure we got the PhotoPass when we arrived too so got lots of family photos and ride photos.
A great day with lots of rides done. Pretty hot and we knew we had a long day ahead of us Sunday so decided to head back and have tea before a quick swim.
It's pretty cool that we have a great view of the Disney fireworks each night over our hotel too.
