Our intention this morning was to get up and have a look through town before heading out to Vegas.
Unfortunately I woke up in lots of pain, so we found somewhere for breakfast, checked some of the souvenir shops and then got in the car. (Ok, so getting in the car was a slow and painful process for me that did result in tears, but hey, I'm tough - Nurofen was my friend! Ovaries definitely NOT my friend!)
We stopped along the way at Ash Fork to check out a small Route 66 Museum and then for lunch at Kingman. It was already starting to get a little late so back in the car and push on to Vegas.
This hotel is great. 5 minute walk from Circus Circus, big room, big bath, kitchen, washer/dryer and importantly (for Craig and the boys) big pool.
Whilst I laid very still and tried not to breathe much on the bed the boys made the most of the warm weather and took themselves to the pool.
We were all exhausted so, despite being in Vegas on a Friday night, it was a quiet one for us.
