The next day the country, including its airport, shut down due to the pandemic, and I spent the next three weeks trying to get home.
Cut to November 2022. I am planting myself in a finca in the mountains near Barcelona for five weeks.
Part of me expects another disaster to flood my plans, but the other half asks:
