Waking up to go to class was a bit rough. After traveling, the last thing you want to do is go back to school. French class was pretty dull since we just learned months and days of the week. OWH took forever and I wanted to fall asleep. I don’t think I have struggled with classes being so long and boring in my life. This is definitely not a learning environment. Can we just forget the school part? We had chapel and then lunch. Lunch was roast and mashed potatoes and green beans. It was nice to have a home cooked meal after eating whatever we could find for a week. I had cleaning duty, but it didn’t take too long. After lunch, I started to work on my literature reading. It is all due Sunday and I haven’t even started. Saturday we are going to Amsterdam, so I really only have two days to get it all done. Hooray. I read for awhile and studied a little for my Bible test. I then decided to take a nap before dinner. It was a good nap, but I woke kind of disoriented. I put my laundry from the trip in before dinner. Dinner was soup. I had to clean again and then I worked on my homework some more. We have had three birthdays while on this trip, so at tea time, we had cookies to celebrate. They were chocolate drop cookies and they were so good. I probably could have eaten like 10 of them. I miss cookies. and baking. and eating what I bake. After tea time, I just worked on homework until like 2 am and then finally went to sleep. I have so much to do.
Fun Facts: I actually missed my bed here. I think I am experiencing post travel blues. I am definitely just not as happy here compared to when seeing the most beautiful things in the world. Makes sense, right?
Shoutout: Hannah Williams, my future roomie. I can’t wait to live with you cutie patootie. Also, I miss you.
