Welp... that was an experience. I've never slept overnight on a flight. I'm a very good sleeper, so I was ready ok. Except, I could use a toothbrush.
Frau must have told us a million times to rest now... because that will be it for a while! After an 8 hour flight... it was time for a 4 hour bus ride. We landed in Rome and headed to Florence. What can I tell you about Rome? It has an airport.
Frau's advice was also to take a good hard look at the scenery on the bus. If I looked left.. it was lovely... if I looked right, not so much. Need to get to the hotel soon. We're really starting to stink!
