The first activity I planned for my parents was a wine tasting, as my mother made it very clear she wanted to do this. I booked this typical red bus tour organization for tourists. We started at the office in Longstreet for our transfer to Waterfront. While on our way to the first wine tasting, the bus stopped at Bloubergstrand for an amazing view at the city and her mountains. Our first wine tasting was at (NAME) (this means drinking wine at 10). Here we also had a short cellar tour and some explanation on how they make wine. After we went for lunch in Franschhoek and had some time to enjoy the surroundings. Our next wine tasting was at Vergenoegd Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. This estate is home to a big group of ducks. So we could also see the famous duck parade. It was a long day, but we all really enjoyed it.
