Cape Town

So, Capetown it is. Today my plane landed at Capetown Airport. Thank God. It wasn't that easy; my plane from Frankfurt was delayed so when I arrived at the airport at Johannesburg I missed my connection flight to Capetown. Not much of a problem, because every half an hour a plane gets to Capetown. At least that's what I thought. Kind of forgot that I was no longer in the Netherlands and things go a little different around here. After an hour of walking from counter to counter, together with a girl from Germany who had missed the same flight, I finally got new tickets. Two hours later I was up in the air.

At Capetown airport some guys form EF picked me op and I got a taxi to my host family. During the ride I got a glimpse of Table Mountain and the see. The sun was shining and I loved it!

My host family seems so nice. They live in a really small house, but do host three EF students and one university student. Next to this they have three children and even grandchildren. So it's a house full, but I like this lively atmosphere. But for now it's almost time to sleep. School will start at eight in the morning..
