Ships log day 76

In Hong Kong, 20.03.2017

In Hong Kong hot and sunny. It was certainly a spectacle entering Hong Kong harbour and welcomed by 3 tugs spraying water like a fountain for us. The sight of all the huge buildings was very impressive and worth getting up for. Our first tour took us up on a sky tram to the top of a mountain with a panoramic view of Hong Kong then a coach tour of the city, followed by a Sampan trip around the very ancient floating houses and the Jumbo floating restaurant. Next Repulse Bay with a Chinese temple. Watched the people collecting seaweed for the Chinese food. In the evening we were taken to the night market, what a treat for the senses again, with all the hustle and bustle spicy smells, exotic foods, very cheap goods and genuine Rolex watches for $5 and many ladies of the night.of this oriental market place. Finally took us to a top Chinese restaurant for a 10 coarse meal with the fresh noodles made at our table wow, fortunately we are professional eaters now and have a huge capacity for this sort of thing. A fun packed day. Photo from few over Hong Kong with the ship parked in the distance. The photo below is us in a San Pan cruising the Fragrant Harbour Market and famous floating resteraunt.
