Ships log day 72

In North Borneo very hot and sunny travelled 19,900 miles. In North Borneo. Our tour took us on a full day trip to Kinabalu Mountain where we did a 3 hour trek through the rain forest in search of their huge variety of flora and fauna birds and animals and amazing array of orchids, all our senses were fulfilled. Warning boring bit coming, Borneo as you may know is where they used to collect heads, they believed by chopping someone's head off and keeping it, it gave them god like power. Apparently this was a very common practice. Traveling around as we are has been quite stimulating and has made me think there are a lot of people around the world who are or were very simple and almost child like in there beliefs. Maybe it's because we live on such an amazingly beautiful planet that anything could be possible.Tomorrow we have a well deserved day at sea, then arrive at Manila in the Philippines.
