Arrival in Oslo!

I caught the train in Gol and left Brigt and Kristin behind to start the next part of my Norwegian adventure! The train ride to Oslo was beautiful and calm and I got some good reading done. When I arrived, there were people from the university there to meet international students and help us get metro cards and get to the campus. The main woman that was helping me is from the Netherlands and just arrived here herself a week ago! She was really lovely and social and knew her way around enough after just a week to be quite helpful. I also met people from Scotland, Germany and Mexico! We got to campus and I waited for a little while to get my keys (there was a pretty substantial line), but passed the time making small talk with people from all over the world (mostly just all over Europe, but still...). Once I got my keys, I made the not too pleasant trek in some rain to Vestgrensa, which will be my home for the next few months! It was such a relief to finally put all of my stuff down and know that I will not have to carry all of it simultaneously until at least December. After getting my bearings a little, I went for a small run to explore the area and then bought some groceries and came back to unpack and settle into my new home!
