We were told the traffic would be awful driving to Croatia on Saturday morning. So, we woke up at 3am and did the drive at night. How crazy are we? Eric drove first, through super windy mountain roads that I am sure would have had beautiful vistas were we driving in daylight. Our first stop in Croatia was in Sibenik, the oldest Croatian city on Adriatic. We walked around briefly and then continued on to our destination - Split.

Our AirBnb is awesome. It is a studio apartment with all the amenities you need, perfectly located in the heart of Old Town. (only thing Eric and I wish we had was a balcony) And Split is super cool and absolutely buzzing right now. Croatia is currently in the semi-finals of the World Cup and Ultra Europe is happening here right now as well. What is Ultra Europe you ask? Europe’s infamous electronic music festival that brings a pilgrimage of dance music fans from around the world (average age 20 years!). Crazy town.

Eric and I unpacked our bags and hit the beach. Check out the pics, beach was full of beautiful young girls in tiny bathing suits and muscle men posing on rocks jutting out of the water. And everyone is dancing to the pulsating EDM music that is blasting everywhere you go. Stella would have loved this!
