Drove to Bled this morning, about 45 minutes away. It was a beautiful, scenic drive through rolling hills and countryside, speckled with castles and churches. Lake Bled is absolutely picturesque, with its emerald green water surrounded by mountains and forests. And the medieval Bled Castle stands above the lake on the north shore. Incredible.
Before visiting the castle we checked out a super cool hotel called Garden Village where you stay in Tree Houses and Glamping Tents. Definitely putting that on our to-do list for future trips. Holy poop.
