We arrived by plane into Quito airport and had booked to fly out early the following morning for the Galapagos. So we treated ourselves to the hotel at the airport which was by far a stand out in our recent accommodation game. A GYM (what a struggle that treadmill was!), followed by sushi, craft beer and my first glass of wine since leaving Aus! Such a treat!
Today also represented a milestone in our trip... the first day Adam was able to wear his pack on his back. Officially a double bagger!
