Hello Everyone,

We made our flight believe it or not without too much drama. We were a little early... 3hrs. We had a little breakfast and caught our flight. There's nothing like losing 3 hrs and getting somewhere at 3pm. We had a little dinner at a pub. I got a beer and a cheese steak, perfect for Philly. Then caught our flight after a short charge. The flight was full but we got two seats on the right of the plane, behind the wing and ... in front of the bathroom. Perfect no long trips to the bathroom. They gave us free movies and two meals; a hot dinner and continental breakfast. Who knew? I think we should fly international more so we can remember the good old days of flying when they actually fed you and treated you with respect when you flew.
We got in at 7am Paris time. It was overcast so no great views flying in due to the overcast skies. It was chilly like Denver. We got our bags with ease, though there were quite a few purple bags similar to moms : ) Kinda funny since she thought she would have the only one. We dragged our bags to the metro, where the Parisiennes were nice and helped me to get out first metro pass for the day and we headed to our hotel.
Our hotel is close to the Moulin Rouge... awesome. My French has become only Spanish these days. It's horrible. I think what I'm going to say in French and out it comes brutalized with Spanish words mixed in. We were able to drop our bags and begin our second day of the trip. More to come....
